Location of Kelowna Nordic Ski and Snowshoe Trails
We are located approximately 20-45 minutes southeast of Kelowna on a (100km/hr) paved highway.
From Kelowna, take highway 33 to Big White road junction. 0.5 km past this junction on the right hand side is the "Kallis" parking lot and a further 0.9 km past there is the "Summit" parking lot that accesses the Thunder Mtn. area of our trails. It is where one groomer is kept and there is a small shelter and deluxe outhouse there as well. It is not suitable for beginner skiers/snowshoers. From this car park, it is another 5.3 km to McCulloch Road junction. Follow McCulloch Road for approx 4.5 km to the main parking lot, cabin and trail head.
From Beaverdell proceed north on highway 33. Watch for the Idabel Lake resort sign, then turn left onto McCulloch road. The parking lot and trail head are another 4.5 km along McCulloch road.
Saturday April 8th -2C Overcast/misty 0-2 cm new. Beautiful groom for the last one of the season. The trails are still in great shape with little melting. Come and end the season on a high note. Roads and car parks are muddy later in the day but usable. Enjoy.
