Stride and Glide for KGH Foundation

We are thrilled to announce that Stride & Glide for KGH is returning for its third iteration on Saturday, February 25, 2023 - and registration is now open!
After the resounding success of the first two events, raising a total of over $100,000, Kelowna Nordic is aiming to take the event to a new level and raise much-needed funds for cardiac care at Kelowna General Hospital. So, wax your skis, strap on your snowshoes, and join us in making an impact on regional cardiac care!

*Please note, there is a suggested trail fee for non-members.
9:00 AM: Registration and package pickup
12 PM to 2 PM: Lunch at Main Cabin, Bratwurst and Beer.
12:30 PM: Prizes drawn for all the fundraisers, top teams of 6 and top fundraisers.
New this year, there will be a distance challenge, ‘Go the distance for KGH,’ starting one week before the event. Starting on Saturday, February 18th, participants will have the week to stride and glide as far as they can. Distances will be recorded, and there will be a prize for the team of 6 that raises a minimum of $1,000 and the individual who raises $300 and racks up the greatest distance!
In addition, the club is offering new prize draw tiers based on total fundraising! Prizes will be drawn for $100, $500, and $1,000 intervals.

Saturday April 1st -5C Overcast 4-6Cm new snow. Excellent groom from Summit for both skate and classic. No need to rush up as it will likely stay cold for a while. Delayed start to let the snow finish so watch for the machine. Roads and car parks OK for now. We will be closing soon so make the most of it.
